(1) What are the benefits of becoming a member?
There are 3 main benefits to joining IndianKarma.com:

(2) When I click on the “interested in this member’ links nothing happens, why?
This feature is a secrete way for you to find out if the member you are interested in is interested in you! When you click on the Yes, Maybe or NO option our site logs your choice. If you choose yes and the member you have selected also chooses yes, then the question option will not longer appear, it will say, "You both clicked YES!!!" Now you know that you have both clicked yes, send them an email... they are waiting!

(3) When I click on the “chit chat†link nothing happens?
You must have a pop-up blocker installed on your computer. This could be a various protection program such as Norton Antivirus or Internet security, an ad/spy ware protection program or it could be a tool bar installed in your web browser such as Google Tool Bar. You need to disable pop-up blocking for indianKarma.com and your security program will allow the chat window to open. (Note - on the main chat page there is a tour of the chat system with flash demos on how to use IK chat.)

(4) What do the trust levels mean?

(5) I want to make my profile unavailable temporarily, how do I do this?
All you need to do in log into your account and navigate to the preferences section. Scrool down to the question "Show/Hide My Profile" then select whether you would like "Show" or "Hide" your profile from other users.

(6) How to private chat when in one of the chat rooms?
(Note - on the main chat page there is a tour of the chat system with flash demos on how to use IK chat.) When you are in one of the chat rooms and would like to chat privately with one of the other chatters, simply click on the chatters name in the list of members in the room and select private chat. This will open a private chat window on your screen and on the chatters screen you want to chat with. If the private chat window does not open it could be because you have installed Windows service pack 2 and in the top of the browser window there will be a gold bar you have to click on and select allow pop-ups for this site. If that is not the reason please read the answer to question (3) on this page.

(7) I receive a new message email but there is no new message in my IK mail box?
This is because the member that sent you the email is either in 'blocked' or 'Hidden' status. When a member has less then 50% of there profile completed there profile is automatically placed on 'Hidden' status until there profile completion is greater then 50%. Ounce they have completed more then 50% of there profile the email will automatically show up in your inbox for you to read.
